Thank You card

This is a quick and easy card I made for my nephews that puppy sat for our dog Minnie while DH and I were gone this past weekend. I used the Paper Pups cartridge, the puppy was on page 116 and was cut at 5". The bone was cut at 3/4" from page 128. The bone was the perfect size for the "thank you" stamp from My Pink Stamper's Family & Friends set.
The patterned paper and green cardstock were scraps and they were mounted on Kraft card stock.

My Pink Stamper Challenge

For the challenge at Robyn's My Pink Stamper blog we had to use black and our favorite color. Black and white have been my favorite colors lately and pink is always my favorite so it makes sense that the 3 together are all my favorite colors. You can't go wrong with that color combination. I bought a white chipboard pillow box a long time ago. I can't remember if it was from Close To My Heart or Stampin Up. The paper is actually Christmas paper but when I put the flowers across the candy cane section you can't see them. It's perfect for candy or any little treat. I added a rhinestone in the center of each flower. I needed this project to be quick so I didn't add other decorations. I left it as a surprise for my daughter on her bed. When we visit her apartment I like to leave little surprises for her to find after we're gone.

Teen boy card

I've only been working on cards lately so here's another one. I designed this card for teen boys but you could use it for men too. I used the Graphically Speaking cartridge. It has so many great images for guys. The car was cut at 2 1/2". The camera doesn't do the card justice. I couldn't get the silver glimmer paper to shine in the pictures but the silver does glimmer like metallic paint would on a car. I don't remember where I bought the patterned paper but I thought it went really well with the car design. I wish I would have used the Diamond Plate Cuttlebug folder on the gold paper but I had it all put together before I thought of that. The "Enjoy the Ride" was also cut from Graphically Speaking. The design of the card didn't allow for the oval design that the words are in so I cut them out of the oval and put them on the top of the card.
