Halloween Blog Hop

CLICK HERE TO WIN the Cindy Loo cartridge when I reach 150 followers.

Good morning everyone. Welcome to the Halloween Blog Hop. Kimberli has set up a wonderful blog hop for everyone. So many talented women in one great hop. I finally have my  computer or blogger fixed, not sure which. Well, I hope you arrived here from Renee's blog at I came I saw I created. If you just happened upon the blog hop and would like to start at the beginning you can go to Kimberli's blog at Kimberli's Creations

My project is quick and simple today. So you can still have time to whip them up before the cute trick or treaters come to your house. I'm not a Halloween person, I LOVE fall themes tho. But I really enjoy the trick or treaters that come to our house each year. So these are for the little cowboys, princesses and a few goblins that may show up.
The clear tubes are sold almost every where now. I found them at a LSS and at a craft store. The stamps are inexpensive at Wal Mart.
I used Stazon ink and stamped directly on the clear tube. You have to very careful and rock the stamp very gently.
I added ribbon and a tag. All the tags were punched with Stampin Up punches. I used the same stamp sets to add the images to the tags.
I tried adding the tag in a couple different ways. I added all the ribbon with glue dots. I think I like the tag attached to the side of the lid. I used glue dots to attach the ribbon to back of the tag.

Make sure your a follower and leave a comment if you would like to win the blog candy.

The Sweetest Thing, Brother & Sister

This is a layout that I did for my son. It's not my usual type of layout but I think it turned out pretty good for my son's album.
The grey paper already had the swirls printed on it. I added the tan paper and the punched stripe at the bottom that are supposed to be gears. I added the metal gears and covered the chipboard stars in the same grey paper. I also added little square black tiles. They work great for a guys layout, they added a little something extra without it being blingy. Above the main photo I added black paint and metal words.
The journal spot was a great addition and filled the empty area on the right side of the photo.

Everything Looks Better in Pink

CLICK HERE to enter to win the Cindy Loo Cartridge!

This is a card I made for my niece for her birthday in July. I'm so behind in posting projects. And its not because I've been crafting because I haven't. I haven't been very inspired lately and I just haven't had time. I'm hoping  that changes this week and I can get in my craft room.

I've had the background paper for awhile and was saving it for just the right project. When I saw these shoes on the Forever Young cartridge I knew this was the project for this paper.

I cut the High Heels from the Forever Young cartridge on page 54 at 4". The shadow is cut in white, the base cut is cut in black and the top layer in pink. I added the flower bling and it just finished off the shoes.
The marquee is from the Storybook cartridge on page 66. The mat layer is cut in pink at 2 3/4" and the top white layer is cut at 2 1/4". The sentiment is from My Pink Stamper "Everyday Occasions" I added the black beaded fringe from Hobby Lobby.

The inside marquee is cut at 4" I don't remember where the stamps inside are from.
