Today is your last day to order the Dotty For You paper pack. Have you seen this paper pack? It's wonderful!
This was our National Scrapbook Month exclusive paper pack. It's so fun and springy. The colors just make me happy and the patterns are Oh So Cute! Loving me some polka dots. All papers are double sided, this shows the patterned side and each one has a polka dot pattern on the reverse side.
If you love this paper pack as much as I do you can order it here. It's only $5 with a $35 purchase.
Excuse the glare on this photo. I had the card in a plastic sleeve when it was on my display board. I didn't take the time to remove it from the plastic sleeve when I took the photo. Wish I wouldn't have been in such a hurry. But I love the shape of this card and the papers are still my favorite. I just can't get enough of them. The card is a Colonial White Die Cut shaped card. So quick and easy. You put the paper you want on the scallop and then trim the extra paper.
I added the green paper to the scallop and then added the Lucy Glitter rub ons. The flower from the stamp set that comes with the Lucy Work Shop on the Go. The great thing about the Workshop on the Go kits is that you get all the paper, cardstock, rub ons, stamps and Bitty Sparkles. And the sentiment is cut with the Art Philosophy cartridge. It cuts the die cut and with the cartridge collection you get the matching stamp that fits the shapes on the cartridge. The "Sincere Thanks" is from the Card Chatter-Sympathy set. This set has so many great sentiments. I think it's my most used stamp set for sentiments. And of course you have to add some bling.
This is a quick and easy notepad I made to put in my Hostess gift bags. When someone signs up to be a hostess for a Home Gathering or an Online Gathering I give her a gift bag filled with goodies. You can see in the bag the notepad says "Your the Best" and at the bottom it reads "A Note For You". Of course you have to have a few chocolates when your making a list of the ladies you want to invite to join in the fun. I add all the hostess info, a special stamp set and this notepad to jot down the names of those your going to invite.
This notepad cover is great because you use whatever scraps you have on hand. I was in a hurry when I made this one and it comes together so quick and easy. You add a Post It note pad in the center and you have a useful little Thank You gift.
Life has a way of getting in the way sometimes but I finally found time to edit the photos of the Oh So Cute cards I made at a card class I took this week. Doris is a fellow CTMH consultant that I just met. She is one of those wonderful people that is just as sweet as can be. She makes you feel at home and you feel like you've been friends forever. She has been with Close To My Heart for 20 years and she's so willing to share what she's learned from her years in the business, I'm sure I'll learn alot from her.
This fun card is made with the Bowwow stamp set. It's a stamp set that I thought was cute but hadn't bought it yet. It's on my list now! Its just so much cuter in person. And I love that you can make the dog any color you need. We have a black lab so my next card will be with a black dog. I think this will be perfect for kid cards, guys or especially for my dog sitter. I'll be using these cards to put her checks in when I pay her. I'll add a Thanks or Thank you to the thought bubble. Oh, I almost forgot to tell you about the Natural Hemp we used on the side. It took me back to the macrame days. We braided the hemp and tied a dog bone to the braid. It just adds that little something.
And Oh My Goodness! How sweet is this card. Whats sweeter than ballons made out of Bakers Twine. I can't believe how easy these are to make. An adhesive circle and twine and your all set. You can change out the papers to any scraps you have in your stock. I'll add a sentiment to the top when I decide who I'm giving it to. Its a great card to have a small supply on hand and then add the sentiment to fit the occasion.
Graduation season is upon us and this card is perfect. If your like me you have friends in many different school districts that will be graduating. Everything is black and white on this card except the color strip. Our school colors are maroon and white so thats what I did here. But the school colors in Doris's town are green and white. You just change the color strip to your color. This is a great card to mass produce.
If you haven't taken a card or layout class from your local Close To My Heart consultant check into it today. You learn new techniques and have fun in the process. If your in my area check out my Workshop/Crop tab at the top to see the classes I have coming up. And I want to THANK Doris again for a great afternoon of learning and sharing!
I was looking thru pictures and realized I hadn't posted this very cute little gift bag. Easter is long gone but this stamp set is still available and it's worth having in your stash.
I just love the little Peep stamp that I pop dotted for dimension. He's so cute! I love that I can make the peep any color I need by changing the ink color. I made green and purple ones too. The words across the top say "Happy Easter To My Peeps" it repeats itself so you only have to stamp it once. The stamp set is My Peeps and has several other images with it. I used a Martha Stewart punch on the green border.
And how easy to pop this little guy in the microwave for a smores anytime.
