CTMH Artiste Cricut Cartridge PreOrder

At convention last week Close To My Heart announced the new Artiste Cricut Cartridge. If you liked Art Philosophy cartridge you will love the Artiste cartridge! There are so many great images that are must haves. With this bundle you get the Artiste cartridge with 3 exclusive stamp sets that are only available with this cartridge bundle and coordinate perfectly with the cartridge. You also receive 3- 9x12 chipboard shapes that coordinate with stamps and cartridge. The wonderful addition to this hand book is that it gives you step by step instructions on how to assemble the 3D items. The overlays that come with the stamps that coordinate with this cartridge will also tell you what size you need to cut the image and the exact page you can find the image on.

Just like the Art Philosophy the Artiste has 700 images. It's definitely a MUST HAVE! If you order the Artiste cartridge from me before Aug. 1 you will receive FREE SHIPPING! Thats right, pre-order thru the PayPal link below and you will get free shipping on the Artist cartridge. So many of our stamp sets coordinate with the new Artiste cartridge. And we also have chipboard shapes that coordinate with the stamps and cricut images.

You have to pre-order before Aug. 1.  Please use the Personal button so neither of us has extra charges. Add your mailing info in the comment section. If you have any questions please email me at papermemories4u@yahoo.com

CTMH Convention Upline Gift

I'm going to meet my upline Mandy for the first time at convention and I wanted to give her a little gift. She has been a wonderful upline that has helped me immensely even tho she is 1,748.21 miles away! When I signed up Close To My Heart I really wasn't planning on being a consultant. I wanted the great deal on the Art Philosophy cartridge and the wonderful consultants kit they had in March and I wasn't going to do any more with it. BUT, you know how it goes when you get all those goodies and start playing with them and you fall in love with all the stuff. You just can't, not share it with all of your friends and anyone you know. So I decided to stay with the company. But as I was saying in the beginning I wasn't planning on staying with CTMH, so when I signed up I didn't find anyone local and I had followed Mandy's blog for a long time. She was very active with CTMH and had great video's using all the great products. So I signed up with her and didn't give it another thought.

Mandy has down lines in many different areas and has worked hard at meeting all of our needs. She has a Facebook page for our team and she holds virtual team meetings via the internet. At our last team meeting she had one of her uplines with 20 yrs experience there to share her ideas and answer any questions we have. All of this is open to any of our downlines too so it makes it great for everyone.

So you can see why I wanted to do something special for her. It really looks much better in person, my camera just didn't do it justice. I used one of the flowers from the Art Philosophy cartridge. The frame is a 5x7 so I didn't have alot of room, so I rolled the flowers pretty tight. I glued them with Liquid Glass and attached a gem inside each one. I attached them to the Lucy background paper with the Liquid Glass. Like I said, my camera didn't do this project justice.

Hope she likes it!

Close To My Heart 2012 Convention, I'm back!

I'm back from Dallas and I'm on information overload from convention! I had such a great time and I loved every minute of it, but I am so tired. They had us going and going with so many informative and fun classes, but it is alot of info in a short time. It's a good thing I'm such an A type personality that I took LOTS of notes.

The best thing about convention is the new Close To My Heart Idea Book. It has so many great new products it's hard to pick just one. My roommate and I were looking at the new idea book and the CTMH photographer snapped a picture of us. We even made the banner of CTMH web site page.

I'm sure your asking yourself, why is that sweet young girl hanging out with an old woman??? Bree is as sweet as can be and we hung out all week. I seemed to be the old lady in all the pictures.

This was taken just before our awards banquet. From left to right, Me, Jayma, Bree, Mandy. Mandy is my upline and yes she is 8 1/2 months pregnant. Jayma is Mandy's upline.

We have a good sized team but only 5 of us were able to be at convention. We found Sharon after Awards Banquet so we could get a picture of all of us together.  WOW, how did I not notice Jayma's yellow heels before! She's so cute. She Bree and I were able to have supper with Jayma several times and she shared lots of great business info with us. Now to put all this new found information into work.

Hopefully I can get more pictures uploaded to share. Have a great weekend.

August FootLoose Workshop

I love the Footloose paper pack. Nothing says summer like the blues, greens and sandy tans in this paper. Its not just for the beach but any summer fun photos. We'll be doing this 10 page workshop Aug. 11. The fabulous Tresa Black designed this workshop and has been generous enough to share her information so I can teach you too. Click here for more info on the workshop and how to sign up.

CTMH Dallas Convention Swap Card

Happy Tuesday, and a very happy day it is. I'm on my way to Dallas for the Close To My Heart convention. I"m so excited! This is my very first convention with CTMH and I get to meet my upline in person, meet everyone I talk to on FaceBook, go to business classes, we get to play with all the great new products and new releases and attend the wonderful awards banquet. Oh, so much fun packed into one short week! I'm going to come back with so many great ideas for classes and workshops.

One of the fun things we will be doing at convention is swapping cards. Anyone that wants to participate can make cards with CTMH products and than we swap cards with anyone else that brings cards. You can make as many or as few as you have time for. I've had my card designed for awhile and I thought I had LOTS of time to get them done but of course time runs out and I cut it close. This is the card I designed and hope everyone at convention likes it.

All of the flower parts are from Hooray Bouquet stamp set. This stamp set coordinates with the Cricut so it's quick and easy to cut the flower with the Cricut and then stamp them. The swirls are cut with the Cricut, using the Close To My Heart Art Philosophy cartridge.

Victory Layout 3

Another 2 page layout from the Victory Workshop on the Go. I love the corrugated cardboard stars I used with all the layouts. Some I left plain and some I inked the top ridges. They just seem to go so well with this paper line. This layout is so quick and easy. The sanding on the paper is a bit messy but so worth the extra mess. I took the sanding block from Close To My Heart and layed it on top of the paper and just sanded the whole piece of paper.

(Thank You Gloria (another CTMH consultant)  for the inspiration for this layout)

Victory Layout 2

This is the second layout using the Victory paper pack. I was able to get 3 - 2 page layouts and still have lots of extras. The solid cardstock pieces were sanded using the Sanding Kit. It totally changes the look of solid cardstock.

The stamps for this layout come with the Workshop On the Go kit for the Victory kit.  For the tickets I cut the ticket with the Art Philosophy cartridge for the Cricut. I then stamped the ticket with Outdoor Denim ink and the on a separate piece of paper I stamped it again without reinking it. This gives a softer ink color. I cut out the center of the ticket and attached it to the center of the dark blue one.

For the shield I stamped it in Outdoor Denim and then in Olive. I cut out the center of the shield and attached it to the center of the blue one. I did the same thing for the Built Tough image too. This one was took a little stamping and cutting but it was worth it. And I love the bronze Studs.

(Thank You Brenda Rose for the inspiration)
